 Even though they lost, Empire  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  contests.
 Tanque Verde's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Emerson Pochilly, who  went 5 for 11 en route to 17 points plus two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Black, who  posted 13 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 Empire now  has a losing record at 1-2.
 Empire has already played their next match,  a  42-27  defeat against The Gregory School on the 4th. As for Tanque Verde, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  73-27  loss against Coolidge on the 4th.
