Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bellmont). They came out on top against the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets by a score of 58-49 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Braves as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Bellmont's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellmont will welcome Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they will square off against Indianapolis Lutheran at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
