The BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs were the 57-46 winner over the East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. BASIS - Scottsdale fell to East Valley Athletes for Christ 60-54. BASIS - Scottsdale can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nithish Prakash, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Rishi Dubba, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
BASIS - Scottsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
BASIS - Scottsdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Premier Prep- PHHoenix at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Heritage Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
