On Wednesday, White Hall lost to Sandy Creek on the road by a decisive 66-50 margin. While losing is never fun, White Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 51st in Arkansas, while Sandy Creek is ranked ninth in Georgia).
Meanwhile, Pinson Valley pushed their score all the way to 68 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 78-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Silsbee. Pinson Valley's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Pinson Valley's loss came about despite a quality game from Clyde Walters, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The game was Walters' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camron Frost, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
White Hall has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Pinson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
