Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Blanchester). They blew past the North College Hill Trojans 23-2 on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won nine matches by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Dane Skates and  Sammy Roush made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing,  Skates   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Roush   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. At bat,  Skates  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Roush  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. With that strong performance,  Skates is now averaging an impressive 1.1  stolen bases per game.
 In other batting news,  Cooper Reynolds was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and one  double. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Mobley, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI and two  runs.
 Blanchester was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North College Hill only posted a  batting average of  .000.
Blanchester pushed their record up to 13-6 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for North College Hill,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12.
 Looking ahead, Blanchester will head out on the road to  challenge  Georgetown  at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday. North College Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
