Hammonton won the last time they faced Atlantic County Institute of Tech and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on Atlantic County Institute of Tech with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ava Tyree spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lauren Potter, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Leah Alexander was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hammonton pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Atlantic County Institute of Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
