Skowhegan may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Marshwood at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
The crowd came for a game last week, and Skowhegan and Cony sure delivered. It was a match that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Skowhegan snuck past Cony for the 14-13 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Skowhegan.
Meanwhile, Marshwood put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took their contest against Greely by a conclusive 22-0 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Marshwood had established a 22-0 advantage.
