The Morgan Academy Senators will head out on the road to square off against the Fort Dale Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Morgan Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Morgan Academy strolled past Monroe Academy with points to spare, taking the game 65-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Morgan Academy.
CJ Christopher Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with six steals and five assists. Williams is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Milton Hand, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fort Dale Academy came up short against Bessemer Academy on Friday and fell 58-50.
Morgan Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Fort Dale Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Morgan Academy was dealt a bruising 69-42 defeat at the hands of Fort Dale Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Morgan Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
