The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. Their tough 48-28 loss to Central might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bellwood-Antis in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now lost six in a row.
Bellwood-Antis' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chance Schreier, who scored 11 points, and Anthony Caracciolo who scored four points along with two steals.
Bellwood-Antis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
Bellwood-Antis will head out on the road to take on the Golden Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Hollidaysburg's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Central, they will be playing at home against the Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while the Dragons are ranked 118th).
