LaSalle extended the longest winning streak in 1A District 3 this week by beating Lakeview, 42-22. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
St. Mary fell to Haughton 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Cole Hendrix threw for 259 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Dane Bailey was a key player and the best on defense this week as Montgomery beat Mamou. He recorded 1 fumble.
Hendrix put up the best numbers in passing as LaSalle bested the Gators. Hendrix's favorite target this week was Kenneth Smith, who caught 3 passes for 113 yards.
On the heels of Hendrix and Logan Wilson, the Tigers have had great success on offense. Hendrix is tops in the league in passing with 859 yards, while Wilson has rushed for 546 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Tigers' Bijon Washington, with 290 yards on 11 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when LaSalle takes on Logansport. The Tigers are in first place, while the Tigers are in fifth place.
