West Port was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the South Sumter Raiders and fell 82-51. One positive for the Wolf Pack, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Sumter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

West Port will square off against Menendez at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Sumter, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wildwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wildwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully South Sumter likes a good challenge.
