Jonah Garcia Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Jonah Garcia produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pflugerville Connally to the win on Friday. Garcia rushed for 279 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (119.7) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Pflugerville Connally's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. Garcia and Pflugerville Connally will square off against Navarro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dylan Owens Turns in Season-Best Performance
Dylan Owens produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elgin to the win on Friday. Owens rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. He has become a key player for Elgin: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Elgin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Owens will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Bastrop on Friday.

Kyle May was instrumental in extending Liberty Hill's winning streak to six on Friday. May was unstoppable, rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
This year, May has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 127.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Bryce Muchaw Delivers Electric Performance Vs Pflugerville
Bryce Muchaw was instrumental in extending Liberty Hill's winning streak to six on Friday. Muchaw was unstoppable, rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 81 yards.
For the season, Muchaw has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 126.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.86 rushing yards per game.

Rounding off our Top Five is Cole Taylor of Pflugerville. Taylor threw for 355 yards and four touchdowns. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 302 passing yards.
Pflugerville's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers takes on Crockett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
