While Waukegan didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past the Payton College Prep Grizzlies with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 47-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Waukegan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hadassah Brown, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Baakir Christian was another key player, putting up 11 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Waukegan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Payton College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukegan will head out to challenge Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Payton College Prep, they will venture away from home to take on Morgan Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
