Santa Anna can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by Paint Rock on the road to the tune of 61-24.
Jacob Jimenez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Strickland, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals.
Meanwhile, Panther Creek was the victim of a rough 45-22 loss at the hands of the Mountaineers back in January. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Panther Creek in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now lost five in a row.
Santa Anna is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Panther Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything went Santa Anna's way against the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January as the Mountaineers made off with a 45-22 win. Will Santa Anna repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
