They suffered a tough 72-48 loss at the hands of Reidsville. T.W. Andrews has struggled against Reidsville recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, McMichael pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Stokes. While losing is never fun, McMichael can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 415th, while West Stokes is ranked 114th).
T.W. Andrews has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for McMichael, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
T.W. Andrews skirted past McMichael 52-49 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for T.W. Andrews since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
