The result was an unpleasant reminder to All Saints Episcopal of the 55-44 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
All Saints Episcopal's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caz Franks, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emerson Hadnot, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and four steals.
All Saints Episcopal has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Dallas Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13.
All Saints Episcopal will square off against the Guard at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brook Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in Texas (the Guard are ranked 464th, while the Trojans are ranked 1076th). As for Dallas Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Knights at 7:30 p.m.
