Worth County's loss came despite strong showings from Kynah Steele and Kristen Tracy. Steele scored 9 points along with 8 steals, while Tracy scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds. Steele scored a full 31% of Worth County's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northeast Nodaway, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worth County will take on King City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast Nodaway, they will be playing at home against Stanberry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
