The Twentynine Palms Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Yucca Valley, falling 83-7. Twentynine Palms was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 70-7.
It was another big night for Myles Harper, who rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. Harper's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Michael Ramos jr was another key contributor, throwing for 176 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes.
Twentynine Palms' defeat was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.7 points per game. As for Yucca Valley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Twentynine Palms does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Yucca Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
