Marissa Melendez produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Peach County to the win on Tuesday. Melendez was dialed in and scored 15 points along with five rebounds. She played a big game the last time she faced Upson-Lee, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Melendez also scored 15 points for the first time this season.
Melendez and Peach County will head out on the road to take on the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Melendez will face off against Rylin Cleven, Pike County's star point guard. Will Melendez turn in another gem to overcome Peach County? We'll have our answer very soon.
