Rossville is 9-0 against Frontier since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Rossville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Frontier in Indiana (Rossville is ranked 154th, while Frontier is ranked 309th).
Last Saturday, Rossville strolled past North White with points to spare, taking the game 50-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rossville.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rossville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Wilson, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. The match was Wilson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Thompson, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Frontier's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Tri-Central by a score of 55-52. Frontier has not had much luck with Tri-Central recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-1.
Everything came up roses for Rossville against Frontier when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 61-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rossville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
