Klein was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Layla Swanson and
Samantha Stephens, who scored all three of Klein's goals. The pair have combined for a total of eight so far this season.
Klein is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6-3 record this season. As for Klein Collins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-2.
Klein will head out on the road to square off against Tomball at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein and Tomball are at an even 3-3-1 over their past seven head-to-heads. As for Klein Collins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Klein Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Collins' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
