Community is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since April 21, 2025 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Moore County, sneaking past 3-1. The Vikings/Viqueens haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Community saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Haley, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another was Isaiah Beech, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Eagleville came out on top against Summertown by a score of 5-2.
Drake Rzemieniewski made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Rzemieniewski was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Brody Gleason was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Jacob Sweeney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
Eagleville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Community, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.
