The Perry Commodores scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 61-50 win over Pandora-Gilboa. The win was nothing new for Perry as they're now sitting on three straight.
Perry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexenna Lee out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Lee has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Khaliah Luster, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Perry's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Perry will head out on the road to face off against Lima Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lima Central Catholic is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Riverdale at 7:15 p.m. Riverdale is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
