The Williamstown Demons suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Simon Kenton 80-50. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Williamstown has scored all season.
Travis Krohman was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with four steals for Simon Kenton. Jay Bilton was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six assists and two steals.
Williamstown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Simon Kenton, they pushed their record up to 6-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Williamstown will take on Walton-Verona at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Walton-Verona knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully Williamstown likes a good challenge. As for Simon Kenton, they will head out on the road to square off against Grant County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
