Station Camp (Gallatin, Tenn.), 41-3. Station Camp was ranked at No. 51 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Tennessee coming into the week.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Josh Malone in the first quarter, the Bison led 35-0 at the half.
Station Camp grew its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. SC scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.
The Gallatin school got 12 points from its defense on the way to victory.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Golden Bears took, 45-7.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Bison, who were coming off a 42-39 defeat at the hands of Beech in its previous game. The loss comes after Mount Juliet defeated Antioch 36-28 last week. The loss snapped Mount Juliet's two-game winning streak.
Station Camp (1-1) will play a non-conference game against Antioch next week, while Mount Juliet (2-1) will take on Blackman also in a non-conference game.
