The Walthill Blujays put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Siouxland Christian, posting a 90-24 victory at home. Walthill's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walthill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keith Morris, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keesan Kaaihue, who scored 16 points.
Walthill pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Siouxland Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walthill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hartington-Newcastle at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Hartington-Newcastle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. Siouxland Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
