The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against St. Patrick by a score of 34-26. This was payback for Dundy County-Stratton, who suffered a 49-26 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Dundy County-Stratton to victory were Alyssa Schneider and Clara Spargo. Schneider scored five points along with ten rebounds and six assists, while Spargo scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Yrkoski, who scored four points.
Dundy County-Stratton has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for St. Patrick's, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
Dundy County-Stratton will head out on the road to take on Southern Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Valley is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Dundy County-Stratton a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. St. Patrick's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
