The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Central in their matchups with Crestview: they've now lost four in a row.
South Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryan Chaffee, who scored 8 points, and Trey Knoll who scored 10 points. Chaffee scored a full 28.6% of South Central's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunner Ray, who scored 2 points along with 6 rebounds.
South Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Crestview, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
South Central will be home for the holidays to greet Western Reserve at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestview, they will head out on the road to face off against Colonel Crawford at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Colonel Crawford is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
