It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Esperanza Aztecs had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. Esperanza better thank their lucky stars for the performance of COLE POLING, as he scored every single goal for his team.
Esperanza has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5-4 record this season. As for Portola, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-4.
Esperanza will square off against Nogales at TBD on Friday. Portola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
