Volleyball Recap: Santa Teresa Has No Trouble Against Andress

Santa Teresa not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since November 14, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Andress Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Desert Warriors.

Vivian Castro paced Santa Teresa's offense, picking up 15 kills. Castro got some help from Bridgitte Sandoval and her 28 assists. Sovaia Lomanivere controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Santa Teresa now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Andress, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Teresa will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Canutillo at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Andress, they will square off against Irvin at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
