The American History Bald Eagles won the last time they faced the Barringer Blue Bears, and things went their way on Thursday too. American History walked away with a 30-22 victory over Barringer. The victory made it back-to-back wins for American History.
American History found their leader in underclassman Ashiyah Holliman, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Holliman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Dominique Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
American History has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Barringer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American History will challenge Bergen Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Barringer, they will head out on the road to take on Montclair Kimberley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
