Greer is 9-1 against the Eagles since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Greer Yellow Jackets are on the road again and plays the Eastside Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Eastside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Greer, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Greer took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 58-29 win over the Raiders.
Meanwhile, Eastside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 58-33 walloping at the hands of Riverside. Eastside has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Greer is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Eastside, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-7.
Greer was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles when the teams last played back in January, winning 48-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
