Atlanta Area School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 69-48 to the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Atlanta Area School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for N.C. School for the Deaf, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Atlanta Area School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oklahoma School for the Deaf on January 10, 2025. After both having extra time off, N.C. School for the Deaf and Tennessee School for the Deaf will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
