Pleasant Kilties will head out on the road to take on the Moses Brown Quakers at 6:30 p.m. Mt. Pleasant is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Mt. Pleasant was beaten by the Clippers 53-25. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mt. Pleasant in their matchups with the Clippers: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Moses Brown entered their tilt with the Mounties with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Moses Brown blew past the Mounties 66-41. Moses Brown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Lauren Bousquet continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Moses Brown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelynn Perez, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Moses Brown, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.
Mt. Pleasant was taken down by the Quakers 80-33 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Mt. Pleasant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
