University has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Newark Tech Terries at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. University will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Newark Tech is ranked 74th).
Last Thursday, University lost to Millburn at home by a decisive 70-51 margin.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-36, which was the final score in Newark Tech's tilt against Elizabeth on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Newark Tech has scored all season.
University's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Newark Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
University couldn't quite finish off Newark Tech when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 52-50. Can University avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
