Mount Juliet was up 31-14 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
MJ expanded its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. The Mt. Juliet school scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.
With the win the Golden Bears extended their winning streak to six games. Mount Juliet defeated the Wildcats 38-15 last week.
Nolan Chowbay was the top performer for MJ. The sophomore quarterback threw one touchdown.
The Golden Bears went into the matchup giving up only 13.2 points per game. The Eagles' 14 points were well below their season average of 24.3 per game.
