Highlands extended the longest winning streak in 4A District 7 this week by beating Harrison County, 77-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Bluebirds.
Highlands took down the Thorobreds 77-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Covington Catholic's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Dressman threw for 143 and 2 touchdowns and Sam Dressman had 111 yards receiving. On the ground Dressman chipped in 56 yards. Logan McDowell helped Covington Catholic's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
The Colonels' dynamic duo of Dressman and Dressman proved tough for Beechwood to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McDowell helped Covington Catholic's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
Harrison County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Thorobreds feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Robbie Stroub has thrown for 1,181 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Justin Hunter has 25 catches for 389 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Holmes takes on Harrison County. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in second, while Jim Carr's team is in fifth.
