The Ridgefield Spudders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Tumwater, falling 55-13. Despite 112 more yards than Tumwater, Ridgefield couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Noah Stromberg and Cly Stephens certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Stromberg picked up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Stephens only threw for no passing yards and no touchdowns.
Among those leading the charge was Peyton Davis, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Davis really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
Ridgefield's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Tumwater, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Ridgefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tumwater has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Port Angeles at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Port Angeles is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
