Big Horn is 10-0 against Wright since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Big Horn Rams will stay at home for another game and welcome the Wright Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
In what's become a running theme this season, Big Horn gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. Everything went their way against Sundance as Big Horn made off with a 60-40 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Big Horn has posted since December 9, 2023.
Big Horn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Gibson out in front who scored 19 points along with five steals. Gibson hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Caleb Adsit was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wright faced Tongue River in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Wright fell 77-68 to Tongue River on Saturday.
Big Horn's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Wright, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.
Big Horn was able to grind out a solid win over Wright in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 59-46. Will Big Horn repeat their success, or does Wright have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
