Encinal had lost seven games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 6-11 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 16-13 victory over the Mt. Eden Monarchs. The Jets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jazzy Alcantar was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Kiely Wong was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one double.
