The Nash Central Bulldogs were the 59-47 winner over the Hunt Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Nash Central was the victim of a rough 69-47 loss at the hands of Hunt on Wednesday. Nash Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Nash Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Stephen Howard. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Hunter, who scored 8 points.
Nash Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hunt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nash Central will take on SouthWest Edgecombe at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Hunt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beddingfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
