Niagara Falls suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Cicero-North Syracuse by a score of 60-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cardinal O'Hara on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory. The win was just what St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute needed coming off of a 83-63 defeat in their prior match.
Niagara Falls' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
