After a string of four wins, Crestview's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milton Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 55-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Crestview's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Milton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.
Crestview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 39-35 win against Gulf Breeze on the 14th. Milton has also already played their next contest, a 60-43 victory against Niceville on the 14th.
