The Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Colonial Christian 80-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Pinecrest Glades Academy was led to victory by Ronnie Rivero and Keith Hernandez. Rivero scored 19 points, while Hernandez dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rivero has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Lovaglio, who scored 12 points.
Pinecrest Glades Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Colonial Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Glades Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face BridgePrep Village Green at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Colonial Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cushman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
