They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-41 walloping at the hands of West Florida Baptist Academy. Calvary Christian Academy has struggled against West Florida Baptist Academy recently, as their game on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading West Florida Baptist Academy to victory were Olivia Pearce and Makenna Enfinger. Pearce dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Enfinger scored 22 points. Pearce hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Stella Moore, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Calvary Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
Calvary Christian Academy will take on L.E.A.D. Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. L.E.A.D. Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Paxton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Paxton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
