Central Magnet put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Walton-Verona Bearcats a 3-0 shutout. Central Magnet might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Madisen Stanley and Kristin Dean scored all three of Central Magnet's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Central Magnet's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Walton-Verona, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
