The losing side was boosted by Trey Lynn, who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Perry LeBlanc, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Brimley were working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Sault Area had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three last Thursday. They secured a 50-44 W over Rudyard.
Brimley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Sault Area, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
