Ross Frank made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. In other batting news, Riley Honick was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and one stolen base. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Max Abernathy was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Rocky Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Collins only posted an OBP of .167.
Rocky Mountain's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Fort Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
