The Worth County Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-21 loss at the hands of Southwest Georgia Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Worth County has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Worth County still got an impressive performance from Kenslie Puckett, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Worth County now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Worth County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Schley County at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Schley County is ranked 259th, while Worth County is ranked 264th). Southwest Georgia Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Terrell Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
