They fell just short of the Silver Knights by a score of 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Silver Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

De'Vion Gipson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Roger Bacon, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
